usual mini-bar and closet. The latter contained not just the usual yukata and
slippers, which we were to wear to the sukiyaki dinner, but also a sort of vest
to go over the yukata.

was the view to the left out our window, with mist and rain over the mountains.
It rained the whole time we were there.

was the view to the right, showing the swimming pool. Somewhere in the area
(across the road, I think) there was a spa, which we were invited to visit. It
offered communal baths and massages, and some of our tour group partook, but
Barney and I were content to stay in our room and rest.
